About Sarah
Fitness has always been part of my life one way or another, from dancing to weight training, I appreciate and enjoy the physical benefits of fitness.
In 2012, when my dad was terminally ill I moved back home to Whitley Bay to look after him and started going to a weekly yoga class with my best friend. I didn't realise at the time just how important it would become to me.
Yoga has made such a positive impact on my life physically, mentally and spiritually and it has gave me the tools I need to help me through the highs and lows of life.
Stepping onto my mat gives me an instant feeling of happy and sense of wellbeing.
I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training in 2018 with the aim to invoke those feelings in others. I did the training over an 11 month period and fell pregnant during it, making me look at yoga and my personal yoga practise in a whole new light.
I've spent my adult life working in fashion, travelling daily up and down the country and climbing that career ladder at the detriment to my own health and personal life. Once I had my little boy, I knew things had to change.
I am super grateful to be teaching yoga, working it around family life and helping others find a better sense of balance in their lives too.
I love to practise yoga at home with my little one but I also need that bit of time to myself on the mat to have space, reset and find a sense of calm in the midst of daily life. 'Nurture the nurturer' I like to say!
Life can be hectic and its important that we look after ourselves. We are all just trying our best, so take a deep breath, be a little kinder to yourself and do some yoga :)
Please get in touch if you are interested to find out more. I value each and every person who joins my classes and I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals. x
